Care Guide
How to Care for Cotton
Washing
To keep your cotton garments in pristine condition, machine wash them at a maximum temperature of 30°C. This conserves fabric integrity and colour vibrancy. Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent to protect the fibers and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals. For best results, wash similar colours together and turn garments inside out to preserve their appearance.
Drying
Air drying is the optimal method for cotton. Hang your garments immediately after washing and gently reshape them. This method not only prevents shrinkage but also maintains the fabric’s longevity. If you must use a tumble dryer, select the air-dry or no-heat setting. Remember, reducing machine drying extends the life of your cotton items.
Ironing
Iron your cotton clothes on a low to medium setting when necessary. If your iron has a specific cotton setting, use it. Start with lower heat and increase as needed, ironing out wrinkles for a crisp finish.
Stain removing
Act quickly on stains by rinsing them with cold or warm water. For persistent stains, apply a small amount of gentle detergent to the area and dab gently. Avoid hot water as it can set certain types of stains.
General maintenance
Frequent washing can shorten the lifespan of your cotton garments. Wash them less often and at lower temperatures to maintain their quality and reduce environmental impact.
By adhering to these care instructions, you ensure that your cotton garments remain a staple in your wardrobe, combining durability with timeless style.
